I build the tools I was missing when I founded my first company.

What I enjoy most is helping people build things themselves, so they can fix real problems for themselves, their friends, and the people around them.

In 2019 we founded Dechea, a practice management app for dentists. Our first feature was a calendar, and we failed at it. We came from backend development and didn't know CSS well enough to build even a basic layout. Hiring frontend developers didn't help either, because we couldn't tell good design work from bad.

So we learned it ourselves, the slow way. We tried Material, Chakra, and Mantine. They all worked, but our product always looked like someone else's. In the end we built our own design system. It took months, and afterwards our screens finally looked consistent and we trusted our own UI decisions.

Then came auth. We needed multiple organizations per account, privacy, and self-hosting, so we tried everything from Keycloak to Clerk. Some were too complex, some too restrictive, some too expensive. Most didn't look like our brand, and sending our users' data to a third party felt wrong.

That's where Etesie comes from: auth, billing, and design building blocks that teams run themselves and shape to fit their product.

Building Dechea showed me a second problem. Market fit, go-to-market, financial planning, hiring, and fundraising usually live in separate spreadsheets, decks, and notes, and nothing keeps them in sync. So I'm building a business compiler that turns one description of your business into the plan, the website, and the pricing, and updates as real data comes in.

In January 2026 I became a Convex Champion. Today I maintain five open-source packages for Svelte + Convex, from auth adapters and billing to the Svelte client itself.
