Founder & Mentor
My goal is to empower others to build confidently — whether its a product, a business, or simply the next step toward their own ideas.
Right now, I’m doing that through Etesie — creating self-hosted, ownable tools for Auth and Design Systems.
I’ve always been driven by one simple idea: helping people become creators so they can solve real problems — for themselves, their friends, and their communities.
In 2019 we founded Dechea, a practice management app for dentists. Our first feature was a calendar — and we failed. Coming from backend development, we didn’t know CSS well enough to make even a basic layout. Hiring frontend developers didn’t fix it either; without knowing the craft, we couldn’t recognize good design work.
So we learned — painfully. We tried UI libraries like Material, Chakra, Mantine… powerful, but they always looked like someone else’s product — never truly ours. In the end, we built our own design system. It took months — but it finally gave us visual consistency and confidence.
Then came auth. We needed multi-organization support, privacy, and self-hosting — so we explored everything from Keycloak to Clerk. Some were too complex, others too restrictive or expensive. Most didn’t feel like our brand. And handing off user data to third parties felt wrong.
That’s when I realized we need an auth and design foundation that teams can truly own — something that’s self-hosted, beautiful, and ready in minutes.
That’s why I started Etesie: to give developers and designers full control over their auth and UI, without vendor lock-in — so they can focus on what really matters: creating products that help people thrive.
Building self-owned, plug-and-play authentication widgets for React and SvelteKit on top of Better Auth + Convex. You own the code, self-host, and keep cost control.
Design System with theme tooling and Figma kits so product teams stay visually consistent from design to production.
